01 — Curriculum

Curriculum Review & Design

An outside, expert eye on what you're teaching and how — followed by an interdisciplinary curriculum built to actually engage students, not just cover standards.

  • → Curriculum audits against learning objectives, inclusion, and real-world relevance
  • → Project-based and place-based curriculum design, K-12 through university
  • → Integration of art, science, and technology into existing subject tracks
  • → Support for accreditation, grant, and institutional review processes

02 — Workshops

Science Communication

Hands-on training for scientists, students, and institutions who need to explain complex ideas to public, media, or funding audiences — clearly, honestly, and with craft.

  • → Translating research into public-facing narrative and visuals
  • → Media training: interviews, panels, and public exhibitions
  • → Exhibition and publication design for research communication
  • → Formats: half-day intensives, multi-week programs, conference sessions

03 — Workshops

Space Science Communication

Drawing on MAP² Explorers and a network that spans UNOOSA, the International SpaceOps Conference, and space agencies across the GCC — workshops that make space science communicable and exciting.

  • → Space science storytelling for students, educators, and institutions
  • → Mission-based learning design (satellites, robotics, exploration themes)
  • → Preparing student work for international conferences and exhibitions
  • → Consulting for space-education programming and youth camps

04 — Workshops, via Critical Peaks

Creative Non-Fiction

Creative non-fiction runs through Critical Peaks, our ongoing interdisciplinary collaboration between fields of scientific research — physics, genetics, computer science, social sciences, cognition, space sciences, environmental science — and artists working in multimedia, sculpture, performance, film, photography, and creative non-fiction. Workshops draw directly on that practice.

  • → Personal essay, science writing, and documentary narrative craft
  • → Turning research and lived experience into publishable non-fiction
  • → Editorial support and contribution paths into Critical Peaks itself
  • → Formats: writing labs, multi-session workshops, one-on-one mentorship

05 — Expeditions

STEAM Camps

Design and delivery of residential, project-based youth camps — built on the same model behind MAP² Explorers, adapted to your organization, location, and theme.

  • → Full camp design: themes, curriculum, logistics, and staffing frameworks
  • → STEAM, space, sciart, and cultural-exchange programming
  • → Partnership camps with schools, cultural institutions, and corporates
  • → Single-session workshops through multi-week residential missions

And Whatever Else Is Needed

Don't see exactly what you need? Ask anyway.

Over two decades, MAPP has worked alongside media artists, engineers, scientists, cultural institutions, and supporters — from UNHCR and GE Power to TEDx, KISR, and INJAZ. If a project needs a collaborator, a specialist, or a partner we don't have in-house, there's a good chance it's in the network. Bring us the problem.

How It Works

Four steps, kept simple.

Discover

A conversation about your goals, audience, timeline, and constraints.

Design

A proposal — curriculum outline, workshop plan, or camp structure — tailored to your context.

Deliver

Facilitation, training, or embedded design work, in person or remote.

Reflect

Debrief, documentation, and a plan for what continues after we step back.

Tell us what you're building.
